 This golf gathering is held in memory of Greg Reilly, a devoted friend and free spirit who passed away in an accident in 1997. We honor Greg and keep his memory alive through this gathering that raises money for Adaptive Adventures, an organization that embodies his spirit and sense of adventure. Greg touched many lives and was loved by all who knew him.
In addition to honoring Greg through the golf gathering, Adaptive Adventures has established a scholarship fund dedicated to assisting disabled athletes meet their goals whether through attendance at an Adaptive Adventures’ sponsored camp or clinic or by purchasing adaptive equipment for participants’ use in any of the key program areas.
This year's gathering will be held at Plum Creek Golf and Country Club in Castle Rock, Colorado, on Monday September 22, 2008. We will have an All-American Lunch at 12:00 PM and a shotgun start at 1:00 PM. The proceeds of the event will benefit Adaptive Adventures, an Evergreen-based, national non-profit organization working with the disabled community. Adaptive Adventures is responsible for all funding with this outing generating needed support for its year-round activities.
To celebrate the event, we welcome you to join us in an After-the-Gathering Banquet Dinner at LoDo's Highlands Ranch with the silent auction, prizes and raffle immediately following the dinner. We encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity to aid such an important charity.
