15th
Annual Sarah Will and Chris Waddell Vail Monoski Camp
January 7-11, 2007
Presented by the Vail Marriott
Sponsored by Adaptive Adventures
This
year's all-ability monoski camp is open to beginner to advanced
skiers. The camp will build confidence through instructing
proper body position employing the basic skiing techniques
used by the world's best skiers and PSIA instructors. With
daily video, students will mark their own progress as well
as learn from each other as they construct the visual image
of proper skiing technique.
Instructors
include 12-time Paralympic gold medalist Sarah Will; Vail
PSIA adaptive instructors and Matt Feeney - Director of the
Adaptive Adventures PSIA Ski School. Also on hand will be
PSIA-certified instructors from Adaptive Adventures and interns
and volunteers from the Breckenridge Outdoor Education Center
to offer additional support. Small groups based on ability
level will make the most of our time on the mountain.
The
camp cost of $600* includes accommodations at the 4 Diamond
Marriott Resort in Lionshead, instruction and two dinners. You
will be within rolling distance of the ski lifts, shops, restaurants,
nightlife and accessible bus route.
*$200 extra for private room ($50 per night)
